About.com Guide to Vancouver / BC Travel

Natasha Jervis has always had a great passion for travel since the day she stepped off a plane and realized that there was more to the world than just her backyard. She has traveled for 25 years throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Canada, and the United States. Originally from Canada, Natasha has lived abroad in the UK, the United States, Spain, and a short time in the Caribbean.

Whether it is a road trip, a boat cruise, a train, or a canoe, she is always up for an adventure! Vancouver was a new discovery for her years ago and she has kept in her heart ever since. As for her love for writing, she picked up a pen one day when she was a young kid and never put it down. It only seemed logical to put her passion for Vancouver and writing together.

Experience:

Natasha Jervis has been writing for 20 years as a hobby and has been writing professionally 7 years for online and offline publications. She has been writing articles, travel/destination pieces, blogs, marketing materials, press releases, greetings, poetry, hotel and restaurant reviews, and has also built up many websites with content.

Previously, she built her own tourism information website on Vancouver, and now is working on a Miami Beach Travel Guide website as a hobby. She still travels as much as she can, but is always happy when she lands back in Vancouver. She is based in Vancouver a majority of the year and enjoys exploring the city.

Education:

Natasha Jervis has extensive training and experience in the travel and tourism sector, as well as online copy writing. She achieved her Bachelors of Science Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida International University in Miami. Since then she has freelanced for various companies throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
